I am apparently 58, so says the calendar, I do not feel old. Recreation: woodwork, going bush, solitude, reading.
Am getting more anti-social as time passes, apparently socialising is good. I find it hard. I need much downtime to rest and reset. Some weekends I plan a no sensation day. No power tools, no people .
Diagnosed in 2005, Have worked with / cared for Minda residents further along the,spectrum than I. Currently work at Electronic Recycling Australia (formerly Aspitech), the best place I have ever worked . Most of us at on the spectrum, and those that are not roll with our quirks.
Have studied most of my life (to avoid unemployment, (could rarely get interviews and fluffed them when I did.)
Have a 15 year old son although his mother and I have parted ways.
